My Clogged Drain In San Francisco Was Flooding My Basement And The Rain Was Getting Worse, So I Called 415-441-2255 For The Best Drain Cleaners In San Francisco
Yes it was raining again but this time it was different. I had just come home from work to find a clogged drain in San Francisco, my basement drain was backed up and about to overflow into my laundry and flood the whole downstairs. Luckily I had a little time but not much. I had lived in the home for just under a year and had never needed a Plumber in San Francisco. I ran across the road to my neighbor and asked them if they knew who was the best clogged drain cleaner in San Francisco. My neighbor Bob quickly called his plumber who he has used for years.
WOW…it had only been 20 minutes and there was a plumber at my door. I quickly showed the gentleman the blocked drain, he didn’t really seem all that bothered he just nodded, smiled and told me he would have the basement drain cleaned withing 5 or 10 minutes. What a relief, he asked me where my garden hose was and I was a little confused at first as to why he would need water, but I showed him the garden hose faucet at the side of the house. He quickly grabbed his hose from the back of his plumbing truck connected it to the faucet and ran to the back of his truck. Then the San Francisco plumber reeled a long red hose from the back of his plumbing truck and inserted down into the drain at the front of the house in the sidewalk. I was a little confused because the blockage was in the back of the house but who was I to be asking questions at this point. Well he started up an engine and the hose took off slowly into the main sewer drain pipe towards the back of the house, as he stood there in the rain all of a sudden I heard a swoosh and BAM… the water in the basement quickly started to drain away. The plumber stood there in the rain for the next 30 minutes and worked that hose back and forth through my main sewer drain, cleaning it, he told me that the sewer drain was full of tree roots, grease and toilet paper and it needed to be removed.
Later when he was done and dryer I asked him what he had actually done and he told me that over the years the tree roots have grown into the drain causing it to clog with toilet paper, so what he used was a hydro jet machine a high powered pressure washer for the drains, he uses the hydro-jet to scour the insides of the drain and remove all the tree roots, toilet paper, cooking grease and debris that had built up over the years. He told me that if he had of simply used an electric machine although he would have cleared the drain line a lot of the debris would still be in the drain and it is still necessary to flush the drain out with the hydro jet.
I am very thankful to my neighbor for referring this San Francisco plumber, I now use them for all my drain cleaning of my clogged drains and plumbing needs.
